Benny Marchant: Benny’s story began where most do: his parent’s garage in Annapolis, MD. After enjoying local success, with his college band, Benny got his first taste of success when his album Teller recorded in his garage post graduation. It generated some serious buzz and earned a cult following. After a brief tenure in Nashville to hone his songwriting skills, Benny moved to Los Angeles and formed the band, The Kings Royal, which in time, he put on hiatus, to go solo. In LA, he teamed up with Joe Chiccarelli (Radiohead, White Stripes, My Morning Jacket, The Shins) to record his debut EP Conversations Missed. The EP along with steady touring, earned Benny a solid reputation in Southern California and the west coast. As Benny’s musical journey continues, you can bet almost everything he does will find it's way into his lyrics. He’ll make us part of it.
