Cameron Ernst: Cameron Ernst is a new artist with a catchy, piano pop sound. Filled with metaphors and cleverly crafted lyrics, Cameron's songs are sure to expose the listener to an innocent truth in which he sees the world. His captivating vocals and addicting melodies combined with his sincere lyrics create a sound that is candy to the ear and moving to the heart. Cameron made the big move to LA as a small town boy from Kansas to attend the University of Southern California in 2006 for acting. When all the arrows were pointing towards music, Cameron decided to put his focus on singing and songwriting as a career. His musical talent along with his charming personality provides an unforgettable performance and puts him in a league of his own. While inspiration comes in many forms for him, Cameron was inspired to write "Love is Louder" for the movement started by actress Brittany Snow, MTV, and the JED Foundation in light of the recent suicides in schools because of bullying. This sparked a new chapter in Cameron's journey to take this song and others that he has written with a positive message into schools, encouraging and motivating young people that they can raise the volume for love in their schools and communities. Cameron is based out of Dallas but is currently taking "Love on the Road", his tour that stops at schools across the country to spread the message of love through music and a positive message.
Kim Edwards: Kim Edwards is a 24-year-old, East Coast-raised singer-songwriter currently based out of Dallas, TX. She began taking piano lessons at 4 years old and grew up listening to a healthy dose of everything from The Beach Boys to Mozart to Billy Joel. Founded on mellow piano tones with an appreciation for acoustic pop, Kim's style is often compared to artists such as Ingrid Michaelson and Regina Spektor (with a hint of the Beatles). Kim released her first 4-song, self-titled EP in May 2009. Recorded with producers Will Hunt (Bethany Dillon, Shane & Shane, Amy Lee) and Ken Calderon, the EP garnered independent radio play and international fans. Released in March of 2012, Kim's newest record "Wanderlust" (produced by Randy Adams) is her first full-length, fully-produced album. The dynamic sprawl of the wonderfully quirky arrangements extends from intimate piano-and-voice spare elegance to epically sweeping strings and playful circus-y brass passages, often in the same song. Kim's grounding in music theory, orchestration, and arrangement is clearly evident on Wanderlust. But despite such an academic background, she has a free-spirited creativity that keeps the album’s musicality joyfully accessible. "Wanderlust" debuted at #25 in the iTunes Top 200 Singer-Songwriter charts, an impressive feat for a totally D.I.Y. artist who used standard networking platforms like Kickstarter and Facebook for exposure. Kim is now taking Wanderlust stateside on her first tour, playing lounges, coffeehouses and intimate living room performances.
